How I Lost 53kg: My Personal Weight Loss Journey

My moment of realization came nine months ago. At 160kg, everyday activities felt exhausting. It wasn’t just about appearance; I wanted to reclaim my health and vitality. That’s when I decided it was time for a real change.

Transforming My Diet

My new diet was straightforward but required discipline. Each day began and end with a protein shake made with just water, no milk, no alternatives. My primary meal consisted of a generous salad combined with 300-400g of grilled chicken or beef, prepared without oil but seasoned generously with spices to add flavor.

Variety was essential to maintain motivation. Some days, I’d choose leafy greens like lettuce, spinach, or arugula. Other days, I opted for broccoli, cauliflower, or crunchy vegetables like cucumber, carrots, or radishes. I’d lightly season the salad with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Crucially, I completely eliminated sugar and all forms of junk food. No desserts, pizza, pasta, burgers, or fast food touched my lips for the entire nine months.
